Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 (February 27, 2010) Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is an unassuming town located in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. When she was awarded the Fine Arts Talent Scholarship, she attended York University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2000. In the 20+ years since, Brugel has landed roles in over 60 shows on small and big screens. She attracted the most interest when she was offered the role as Rita on the award-winning series The Handmaid's Tale (pictured below). Brugel was only seen on a few instances in the initial season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. She was the sole Canadian member.
